Web Push Notifications, a feature available for all our websites, is offered as an Addon and can be purchased by logging in to your account and clicking Get Addons.

They are not a stand-alone service and they are only compatible with our websites. Note that the number of push messages you can send annually is unlimited.

What are mobile push notifications and how do they work?

Website push notifications are clickable messages sent by a website to their subscribers’ browsers. They work similar to mobile app push notifications except that they work on websites instead of apps and can be accessed on all devices (desktop, mobile, tablet, etc).

Web Push Notifications don’t need a user’s email address or other contact details. As soon as someone arrives on a website, an opt-in box is triggered. If the visitor clicks on “Allow”, he/she is added to your subscriber list. As soon as a ‘visitor’ becomes a ‘subscriber’, you can send them push notifications from your website. These notifications will arrive in real-time and clicking on the notification will take the subscriber to the URL specified. These messages will still appear on your website visitors’ desktop, even when they are not browsing your website! Even if their computer is asleep, your notifications will be delivered when they turn it back on.

Why send a push message? 

Web push notifications are short and sweet while they are also quick and easy to send. They can be used to the deliver advertising, informative or any other content as fast as possible or simply remind past visitors to visit your website.

You may use them to deliver offers, values and incentives at lightning speed. They’re a tool to help you deliver targeted, personalised messages to opted-in users without the need to collect email addresses.

Is it easy to create and send a push notification message?

Creating a push notification is as easy as sending an email or as sending a text message to a friend. Our Push Notifications service, allows any user, technical or not, to send notifications easily from his Admin Control Panel, at any time.
